Salaam all! I’m Farheen and I teach kindergarten. I did my bachelors in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I was very involved in activist organizations. I’m actively dedicated to changing the world for the better. I’m obsessed with the human brain and the biological mechanisms that make us act in the ways that we do. I’ve volunteered for various causes for many years and now teach at the Sunday School in our community, where I’m also a youth development director. After college, I worked in education with older children who have behavioral issues and increased need for support. I’m passionate about learning as much as I can and appreciating everything and everyone in the world we live in, to better be able to help. I’m grateful for the opportunity to introduce the world of learning to such young and enthusiastic scholars this year and I hope to set them off on the path of knowledge and enjoyment for the rest of their lives.
